Age: 27 Height: 5'9" Weapon: Machine Gun A passionate man whose pen is truly mightier than the sword. An ex-soldier turned journalist, Laguna is a strong willed man with amazing energy. His compassion for the unfortunate drives him to help the weak and bring down their oppressors. Using his writing as a mighty instrument of justice, he stands strong against the evils of the world. Personally, I don't think Square's description of Laguna fits him. Laguna is a fairly comical character, and I would call him energetic, or hyper, rather then passionate. Through the game, you don't hear much about him writing other then a few mentions here and there, he talks to Julia about wanting to become a journalist when he was in the army, and Kiros tells him an editor's position is open with Timber Maniacs. As for being strong willed, Raine mentions that they brought him into Winhill 'crying like a baby' when he was badly injured in a jump from a cliff. While he seems confident, his leg has the habit of cramping up when he's nervous. He is, however, a good guardian for Ellone, his symbolic daughter who he takes care of after her parents are killed. He is very compassionate, and will fight for the underdog, as he does for the Moombas who are mistreated in Odine's labratory. Quotes
