Cid is the Headmaster of Balamb Garden, and despite his big position, there isn't alot to say about him. He is portrayed as a 'kind man' who seems to get jerked around alot. He gets pushed around alot by NORG, the Shumi who funded the building of Balamb Garden. He's also one of the few people who knew what SeeD was created to do, and he knew early on that SeeD would be put against his wife some day. He doesn't seem to deal with that kind of pressure well, as he leaves the job to Squall, and ends up leaving his Garden to Squall.
