He seems to be a big, lively guy with a taste for battle. He ends up losing his voice from a throat injury when escaping from Centra with Kiros and Laguna, I don't quite remember if he ever hooks up with Laguna after that. He does land a job at the Desert Prison near Galbadia, as a janitor.
